Methodology for developing a sales aid simulator
It involves the implementation of proprietary software to digitize the bidding process for a specific product through a cloud-based bid simulator / configurator, with the ultimate goal of deploying it as a value-added service. Therefore, the project’s objective is the design, development, supply, implementation, and commissioning of a cloud-based bid configurator, along with optional items and professional services that complement the bid structure to achieve the desired solution.
Project phases
Discovery: initial situation and desired situation
Objective: To analyze the characteristics of the product or product families and the available information, interaction with existing systems and verification of the current offering process and the desired process with the solution to be developed in the project, and thereby determine the exact design of the solution in the subsequent phase:
- Visit to client facilities, study of product technical specifications, sales process flowcharts, and existing systems.
- Solution component approach and new digitalized bidding process:
- New flowchart for offering and interactions between roles

Solution design
Objective: Definition of the design and architecture of the solution with all its modules:

Development of the solution
Objective: Complete development of the solution according to the agreed design:
- Front-end and back-end architecture

- Neural network to infer features from input data
- Connection to customer data system (if necessary)
Implementation, testing, training
Objective: Test the solution with the client and implement it in normal operations:
